K Raheja Corp to begin construction of InOrbit Mall in Vizag

Real estate development business K Raheja Corp will construct a 6 lakh square foot InOrbit Mall in Vizag (Visakhapatnam). The business will invest Rs 600 crore in the project and bring a range of fashion and beauty brands to the city.

K Raheja Corp announced its new mall project for Andhra Pradesh on July 25, India Retailing reported. The business’ president Neel Raheja invited the state’s chief minister Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy to his office at the camp to see the site and also invited him to attend the foundation laying ceremony for the mall.
 
The foundation laying ceremony will take place on August 1, Vizag Insight announced on Facebook. The mall will be constructed at Kailasapuram.

The mall is scheduled to become operational in three years, according to a press release from the Andhra Pradesh state government. K Raheja Corp is also considering other investments in the state and has discussed these with Mohan Reddy.  
 
K Raheja Corp was founded un 1956 and specialises in both residential and commercial development projects, including malls and hospitality projects. The business’ subsidiaries include Shoppers Stop and the InOrbit Mall chain.
 
There currently exist InOrbit Malls in Mumbai and Vadodara. The malls contain a mix of Indian and international brands including Puma, W, Levi’s, Just In Time, Mufti, and Go Colors among others.
