Jimmy Choo celebrates new store launch with cocktail party in Mumbai

Global luxury accessories brand Jimmy Choo held a celebrity filled cocktail party in Mumbai at IF.BE, the former ice factory. The party celebrated the launch of Jimmy Choo’s new exclusive brand outlet in the metro’s recently opened Jio World Plaza.

The event took place in partnership with i-D and welcomed Bollywood celebrity and brand ambassador Ananya Panday as a special guest, the brand announced in a press release on November 30. Other notable guests at the soiree included Osman Ahmed, Anita Chibba, Mouni Roy, Tania Shroff, Arushi Merha, Nida Merchant, Nina Shah, Sanjay Garg, AD Singh, Anjali Patel Mehta, and Suhani Parekh among others.

The fusion style architecture of IF.BE was illuminated in purple light and Jimmy Choo’s logo lit up on its walls as Mumbai’s fashion, culture, and arts worlds came together to celebrate the recent store opening. Local DJs Nida Merchant and Nina Shah provided the soundtrack for the night and guests danced and enjoyed the ambience with many dressed in accessories from the brand’s latest collection.

Jimmy Choo was established in 1996 and is known for its high heels and opulent aesthetic. The global luxury brand also retails handbags, accessories, and fragrances and is today led by CEO Hannah Colman and creative director Sandra Choi. The business is publicly listed on the New York Stock Exchange under the ticker CPRI as part of Capri Holdings Limited’s global fashion luxury group.
