Jacquemus has made a new addition to its management roles. The French fashion house has hired Vittoria Pietropoli as Brand and Communications Director, a position it has created especially to support its growth. The Italian manager, who announced her new appointment on social media, previously worked at Loro Piana.
She took over as head of communications for the LVMH cashmere label in October 2021. Prior to this, Vittoria Pietropoli spent four years at Moncler, heading up the company’s worldwide digital public relations and then marketing departments. After training in communications, she began working for various press offices, including Karla Otto, before moving to Woolrich to coordinate worldwide digital press relations.
This is a new milestone for the brand founded by Simon Porte Jacquemus and managed by Bastien Daguzan, which is in the midst of a rapid acceleration. Between 2021 and 2022, the label, which showed last June in the gardens of the Château de Versailles and employs 250 people, doubled its sales from 100 to 200 million euros, thanks to its increasingly upmarket positioning.
Now well-established in the heart of Paris’s Golden Triangle with its boutique on Avenue Montaigne, Jacquemus has multiplied its pop-ups and various activations this summer along the Mediterranean coast, in the most exclusive seaside resorts between France and Italy. The brand has also expanded into the United States.
