Benjamin Netanyahu is in hospital, his office has confirmed.
The Israeli prime minister, 73, is in a good condition and undergoing assessment in Sheba hospital, in Tel Hashomer, near Tel Aviv, his office added.
According to Israeli reports he was feeling unwell, but fully conscious en route to the hospital.
Netanyahu was rushed to hospital in October 2022 after suffering from chest pains. He was discharged after test results came back normal.
The Israeli leader also underwent a “routine colonoscopy” in January earlier this year.
Local media said Netanyahu was taken to hospital from his home in Caesarea, where he had been spending the weekend.
A spokesperson for his office confirmed: “Prime Minister Netanyahu arrived a short while ago to the Sheba Medical Center.
“He is well and is undergoing a medical evaluation.”
