‘Made in India’ beauty brand Insight Cosmetics has achieved ‘Cruelty Free’ certifications from the People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA) and celebrated the new title with a dedicated campaign and influencer collaborations.
“We’ve always believed that true beauty is compassionate, and today we stand proud as a cruelty-free PETA-certified brand,” said Insight Cosmetics’ sales and marketing director Mihir Jain in a press release. “For us, this certification is more than just a badge; it’s the culmination of years of hard work, passion, and a promise to create beauty that is cruelty-free and full of kindness.”
The brand has also received ‘Safe Certification’ from Bureau Veritas to ensure its product safety. To celebrate and raise awareness about its certifications, Insight Cosmetics launched a ‘Bus Shelters’ campaign in select locations. The brand has also partnered with a range of influencers who specialise in ethical beauty to share its new products and status while displaying a vegan badge both in stores and online.
Insight Cosmetics was established in 2012 and aims to create the “next generation of cosmetics,” according to the label. The brand has expanded its product offering over the years to feature over 350 SKUs ranging from mascara, eyeliners, eyeshadows, lip glosses, lipsticks, and nail polish to foundation, concealers, and makeup brushes among others.
