Indya Luxe collaborates with Nikhil Thampi for festive line

Women’s ethnic and occasion wear brand Indya’s premium line Indya Luxe has collaborated with designer Nikhil Thampi to launch a glittering winter festive collection on its direct to customer e-commerce store and on its mobile shopping app. 

“Nikhil Thampi x Indya Luxe now live,” announced Indya on Facebook. “Get ready for the dazzling wedding season as we introduce our latest designer collection, Nikhil Thampi x Indya Luxe for celebration galore.”
 
The collection takes Thampi’s signature use of sparkle and mixes it with Indya’s classic traditional wear silhouettes. With a colour palette of rich purple, ivory, burgundy, black, navy blue, and emerald green, the line is designed to carer to shoppers’ winter wedding and party dressing needs. 

The collection features classic cuts such as full lehengas and glittering sarees as well as more fusion style garments such as one shoulder gowns and matching sets with a loose, statement coverup. Notable looks in the collaborative collection include a black gown with a high neck and cap sleeves and a black coverup with a white, geometric print rendered in glitter embroidery. 
 
Nikhil Thampi also recently collaborated with footwear brand Tiesta to launch a collaborative collection of statement heels for the festive season. Bollywood celebrity Vani Kapoor starred in the collection’s promotional campaign wearing metallic strappy shoes with jewellery style details among other designs.
