Indya expands retail presence with store in New Delhi

Women’s ethnic wear brand Indya has strengthened its retail presence with the launch of a new store in the national capital city of New Delhi.

The store located in Rajouri Garden will showcase Indya Luxe wedding wear, encompassing both bridal and non-bridal segments, ready-to-wear collections, and recent designer collaborations.

The brand plans to further expand its retail presence across India by opening 8–10 wedding stores in the current financial year.

Commenting on the expansion, Shivani Poddar, CEO founder of Indya in a statement said, “We are thrilled to unveil Indya’s largest Luxe store in the heart of New Delhi’s wedding hub. This store will serve as a comprehensive destination for all things ‘wedding,’ providing our customers with an immersive experience of Indya’s essence, product offerings, and exclusive previews of our recent designer collaborations.”

“Recognizing New Delhi as a pivotal market for designer wear, we believe that our vision to democratize designer aesthetics aligns seamlessly with the city’s culture,” she added.

Entrepreneurs Shivani Poddar and Tanvi Malik launched Indya’s parent company High Street Essentials Private Limited in 2012. The business also runs women’s western wear brand FabAlley and plus size brand Curve.
