The India International Garment Fair will hold its 70th edition to date in New Delhi from February 26 to 29 as part of global textile trade show Bharat Tex 2024. The industry event will focus on sustainability in fashion and is supported by the government’s Ministry of Textiles.
The trade show will take place at New Delhi’s Bharat Mandapam and Yashonhoomi, according to the trade show’s official website. The event will focus on product categories comprising menswear, womenswear, children’s wear, and fashion accessories. Both manufacturers and suppliers will attend the trade show, and traditional, ethnic, fusion, and western wear categories will all feature.
In order to promote the event to buyers, IIGF has introduced a number of features this season including up to four night’s complimentary hotel stay, lunch at the trade show venue for four days, and airport and venue transfers. Buyer registration is open and, as over 300 exporters are scheduled to participate, the trade show aims to showcase a diverse array of India’s fashion offering to global wholesalers and retailers among others.
“Providing an opportunity to new entrants as well as established players to showcase their products in front of global buyers,” announced IIGF on its website. “Every year buyers from entire global countries visit the fair and do the business worth millions of US dollars.”
