IIJS Signature deepens Saudi Arabia contacts with door to door campaign

The India International Jewellery Show Signature has held a door to door campaign in Saudi Arabia. The Gem and Jewellery Export Promotion Council aims to deepen business connections in the country and encourage participation in its upcoming January trade show in Mumbai.

The GJEPC has forged connections with fine jewellery businesses and buyers in two jewellery hubs of Saudi Arabia, Jeddah and Riyadh, the traders’ body announced on its website. The door to door campaign was designed to boost participation in its upcoming international trade show and record local jewellery trends to enable Indian manufacturers to tailor their wares to the market. 
 
In Jeddah, the GJEPC delegation met with 19 jewellery businesses including BA Ali Jewellery, Durrant Lamar Gold Jewellery, Mizan Al Almas, Salem Hassan Alammari, Jawhart Al Arab, and Bin Mahfooz among others. In Riyadh, the organisation connected with 45 businesses including Al Shaqha, White Diamond,Fan Al Jwhara, Al Hazzani Jewelry, Laylaty Jewelry, and Al Modayan Jewelry.

The GJEPC also closed its first phase of registration in India. “We are delighted to announce that the first phase of IIJS Signature 2024 received a staggering response from the gem and jewellery industry as the registration kept pouring till the final hours of phase closing,” announced the GJEPC on Facebook. “We have recorded 14,000 plus impressive entries in the first phase and the counting continues!”
 
IIJS Signauture 2024 will take place across two venues in Mumbai. From January 4 to 7, the trade show will run at the Jio World Convention Centre and from January 5 to 8 it will take place at the Bombay Exhibition Centre.
