H&M opens first store in Patna

Swedish fast fashion brand H&M has opened its first exclusive brand outlet in Patna to cater to shoppers across the state of Bihar. The new store is spread across two storeys in Patna’s City Centre Mall and is H&M’s 54th store in India to date. 

“H&M is opening,” announced City Centre Patna on Facebook. The store is located on the upper ground floor and first floor of the mall of retails a wide selection of men’s, women’s, and children’s wear and accessories. 
 
The mall is located in Patna’s Christia Colony and houses a range of Indian and international fashion and lifestyle brands including Puma, Max Fashions, Mac Cosmetics, Blackberrys, Adidas, Himalaya Optical, Vero Moda, and Jack & Jones among others. By opening in Patna, H&M adds to its brick-and-mortar presence in northern India after launching in the Indian market eight years ago.

“H&M fans in Patna, the wait is finally over,” wrote H&M India’s head of merchandising Prateek Kumar on Linkedin. “Store number 54 is officially open at City Centre mall. Elevate your fashion game and shop for all your needs at the new store.”
 
H&M also recently launched an exclusive brand outlet in Ranchi’s Mall of Ranchi in Jharkhand. The brand also runs a direct to customer e-commerce store and shopping app in India.
