Beauty and personal care business Good Glamm Group has finalised its acquisition of mother and baby focused personal care brand The Moms Co after initially acquiring a majority stake in the business in October 2021.
“We’ve seen incredible growth in The Moms Co., and we are committed to maintaining this momentum by leveraging our content-to-commerce engine,” said Good Glamm Group’s founder Darpan Sanghvi, India Retailing reported. “The brand is highly trusted for its proven efficacy among moms and babies, and we are excited about what the future holds.”
Since its acquisition by Good Glamm Group, The Moms Co has expanded its global distribution network and is now available in a number of multi-brand outlets in the UAE such as Lulu Hypermarkets and Carrefour. The brand also plans to follow the acquisition completion with expansion into new international markets.
Now owning a 100% stake in The Moms Co, Good Glamm Group plans to continue to expand its product selection and retail network. Following its initial majority stake acquisition, The Moms Co has reported a 350% increase in its digital reach and a 12,500% increase in the number of transacting customers.
Good Glamm Group has recently taken steps to solidify its brand portfolio and completes its transaction with feminine hygiene brand Sirona. The business also increased its shareholding in other businesses in its portfolio including “good creator company” Winkl and natural personal care brand Organic Harvest.
