Fashion, homeware, and lifestyle brand Good Earth has launched ‘Titli’ as a new in-house womenswear brand. The premium label is designed to reimagine silk as a seasonless, versatile textile.
“Our new in-house label Titli features a vibrant canvas for personal expressions of style,” announced Good Earth on Facebook, launching the label. “Celebrating the natural beauty of Indian silk, with minimal embellishments. Discover the launch collection of silk separates, in stores and online.”
Good Earth describes Titli’s maiden collection as, “a vibrant jewel-toned palette spanning fuchsias, cobalt blues, and emerald greens.” Titli’s tunics, sets, and fusion style ensembles come in a mix of monochromatic designs and printed styles, kept modern by the use of only two colours at any one time. Several checked designs also feature to bring in a greater mix of colours but the line is kept subtle, despite its use of bold hues, by the delicate crinkling of the silk textiles.
By launching Titli, Good Earth aims to transform silk from a textile only worn on special occasions to one which can be worn daily, Elle India reported. Titli’s first offering includes ethnic wear staples such as kurtas and kaftans as well as jackets, skirts, kimonos, and trousers. The collection also adds dimension with a number of printed scarves.
