Gokyo opens two Mumbai shop in shops, partners with Total Sports and Fitness for expansion

Outdoor apparel and performance gear brand Gokyo has joined forces with Total Sports and Fitness to expand its retail footprint in the Mumbai region. The Indian-made brand has opened two new shop in shops in the metro, located in Thane and Dadar.

“We have a large user base in the Thane, Kalyan, Central Mumbai region and the SIS concept will further help us tap our loyal and potential customers in the busy central Mumbai region right from Dadar to Mulund to Kalyan, etc,” said Gokyo’s founder Venkatesh Maheshwari in a press release. “They can now enjoy the convenience of exploring and purchasing our products closer to their homes.”
 
The Gokyo shop in shop in Thane is situated inside the Total Sports & Fitness store in Korum Mall. In Dadar, the brand’s sales point is found in the Total Sports & Fitness store in TT Circle. By opening retail touch points inside Total Sports & Fitness stores, the brand will be able to increase visibility and benefit from the multi-brand outlets’ footfalls.
 
Gokyo products available at its two new shop in shops include trekking pants, jackets, and base layers as well as outdoor apparel, accessories, and gear among others. The brand aims to cater to beginner, intermediate, and advanced trekkers with products focus on the needs of Indian adventure seekers. Gokyo plans to open more shop in shops as part of its partnership.
