The Gem and Jewellery Export Promotion Council sent a team to Dubai to promote its upcoming trade show India International Jewellery Show Tritiya. GJEPC representatives connected with local businesses at jewellery hub the Gold Souk ahead of the April event.
“Jewellers from well-known brands in Hind Plaza, Gold Land, and Gold Center have expressed keen interest and excitement for Indian jewellery, marking the success of the GJEPC’s efforts in promoting IIJS Tritiya within the GCC region,” announced the GJEPC on its website.
The door to door campaign to promote the GJEPC’s business to business event was also designed to forge connections with UAE jewellery businesses. The GJEPC and Indian government are keen to strengthen trade ties between the two territories following the recently signed trade agreement.
The GJEPC reported receiving support from the Dubai Gold Jewellery Group during its tour. The traders’ body pledged to share information about IIJS Tritiya with its members.
IIJS Tritiya will run from April 5 to 8 at the Bangalore International Exhibition Centre in Bengaluru. The trade show will feature over 1,900 exhibitor booths with more than 900 exhibiting businesses scheduled to present their wares and latest designs to buyers, wholesalers, and retailers from across India and beyond.
