GJEPC holds trade talks with Thai officials, travels to Dubai for trade show promotion

The Gem and Jewellery Export Promotion Council has reached out to businesses in numerous countries to forge trade links and recently hosted Thai officials in Jaipur to boost bilateral trade. The GJEPC also travelled to Dubai to promote its upcoming international trade show India International Jewellery Show.

A group of officials from the Royal Thai Embassy and the Thai Trade Centre paid a visit to the GJEPC’s Jaipur regional office to discuss the enhancement of bilateral gem and jewellery trade between India and Thailand, the GJEPC reported on its website. The discussions centred around increasing cooperation and agreed that the jewellery industry represents a strong opportunity to boost the economies of both nations. Attendees at the meeting included the GJEPC’s regional chairperson for Rajasthan Nirmal Bardiya and Thai commercial councillor Narathip Raksakit among others.
 
The GJEPC sent a delegation to Dubai’s Deira Gold Souq to roll out the second phase of its India International Jewellery Show Premiere promotional campaign. GJEPC representatives sought out a mix of local jewellers and industry stakeholders to promote its upcoming trade show and reported a positive response. The GJEPC team connected with 45 wholesalers and retailers in Deira Gold Souq, Gold Centre, Gold Land, and Gold House.
 
“The campaign attracted a diverse group of jewellers, retailers, and industry professionals, all eager to explore the latest trends, innovations, and opportunities at IIJS Premiere in Mumbai from 8th to 13th August,” announced the GJEPC on its website. The trade show will take place across two venues to accommodate the maximum number of exhibitors and guests.
