GJEPC brings IIJS campaign to Saudi Arabia, launches booth allotment in Mumbai

The Gem and Jewellery Export Promotion Council has brought its promotional campaign for trade show India International Jewellery Show to Saudi Arabia to encourage traders to join the event and foster greater trade links with the country.

“International door to door promotion for visitor registration kicks off in November 2023,” announced the GJEPC on Facebook. The registration sessions launched in Dammam on November 21, followed by Khobar from November 22 to 23. Next week, the GJEPC will hold sessions in Riyadh from November 27 to 28 and in Jeddah from November 29 to 30.
 
The GJEPC is keen to target buyers from the MENA region for its upcoming trade shows, it announced on its website. The trader’s body has conducted a meeting with 58 regional retailers including Lazurde, Malak, Salil Jewellery, Al Haramain, Al Afra Modern Jewellery, Saray Jewellery, Al Arbash, and Al Kathan among others to further this aim. The Saudi Arabia tour is the largest promotional exercise of its kind the GJEPC has undertaken. 

The GJEPC also launched IIJS Signature booth allotment at the Bharat Diamond Bourse in Mumbai, it announced on Facebook. The booth allotment kicked off on November 24 and announced a new section of the trade show: ‘The Select Club’ will present a range of jewellery couture exclusively at the Jio World Convention Centre.
 
IIJS Signature will take place from January 4 to 7, 2024 at the Jio World Convention Centre and from January 5 to 8 at the Bombay Convention Centre, both in Mumbai. The GJEPC will also hold an edition of IIJS Tritiya in April 2024 to bring together Indian jewellery manufacturers and related businesses and international buyers, importers, and retailers.
