Russian offensive actions and impact on civilians
The Russian Federation continues to kill the peaceful population of Ukraine and disregard the laws and customs of war, using tactics of terror against the civilian population.
Today, the Russian army deployed 6 guided missiles of the S-300 air defense system against civilian infrastructure objects in the cities of Zaporizhzhia and Chuhuiv. Additionally, within the past day, Russian troops carried out 23 airstrikes and approximately 46 artillery shelling attacks on the positions of Ukrainan troops and populated areas, using multiple rocket launcher systems.
The probability of missile and airstrikes throughout the territory of Ukraine remains very high.
The Russian army continues to concentrate its main efforts on the Lyman, Bakhmut, and Marinka directions, with approximately 22 combat clashes occurring within the past day.
Intensified frontline clashes and epicenters of conflict

- In the Volyn and Polissia directions, the operational situation remains unchanged.
- In the Siversk and Slobodzhansk directions, the Russian army conducted mortar and artillery shelling on more than 10 populated areas, including Karpovychi and Tymonovychi in the Chernihiv region, as well as Seredyna-Buda, Znob-Novhorodske, and Yunakivka in the Sumy region.
- In the Kupiansk direction, the Russian army carried out an airstrike in the area of Klysliivka. Artillery and mortar shelling targeted Klysliivka and Berestove in the Kharkiv region.
- In the Lyman direction, Russian troops conducted unsuccessful offensive actions in the areas of Rozdolivka and Bilotserkivka. They delivered airstrikes near Bilotserkivka in the Luhansk region and Lyman and Rozdolivka in the Donetsk region. More than 5 populated areas, including Bilotserkivka in Luhansk region and Verkhniokamianske and Rozdolivka in the Donetsk region, were subjected to artillery shelling.
- In the Bakhmut direction, the Russian army carried out unsuccessful offensive actions in the area of Bakhmut. It conducted airstrikes near Bila Hora and Diliivka in the Donetsk region. Around 10 populated areas were affected by Russian artillery shelling, including Vasiukivka, Chasiv Yar, and Ivanivske in the Donetsk region.
- In the Avdiivka direction, with the support of aviation, Russian soldiers conducted unsuccessful offensive actions in the area of Avdiivka. They carried out artillery shelling on more than 5 populated areas, including Stepove, Avdiivka, and Vodianne in the Donetsk region.
- In the Marinka direction, Ukrainian troops repelled all Russian attacks in the area of Marinka as well as Pobeda and Novomykhailivka. At the same time, the Russian troops conducted airstrikes near Krasnohorivka and Nevelske, and carried out artillery shelling on more than 10 populated areas. Among the affected areas were Nevelske, Oleksandrivka, Krasnohorivka, Marinka, and Pobeda in the Donetsk region.
- In the Shakhtarsk direction, Russian troops conducted unsuccessful offensive actions in the area of Novomykhailivka. They delivered airstrikes in the areas of Vuhledar, Zolota Nyva, Makarivka, and Rivnopolye in the Donetsk region. They shelled approximately 10 populated areas, including Prechystivka, Vuhledar, Zolota Nyva, and Blahodatne in the Donetsk region.
- In the Zaporizhzhia and Kherson directions, the Russian army is concentrating its main efforts on preventing the advancement of our forces. It conducted airstrikes in the areas of Molodizhne and Antonivka in the Kherson region. Russian troops carried out artillery shelling on more than 25 populated areas, including Poltavka, Hulyaipole, Hulyaipilsk, Pyatyhatky, Lobkove, Zaporizhzhia in the Zaporizhzhia region; Antonivka, Kherson, Dniprovke, Veletenske in the Kherson region, and Ochakiv in the Mykolaiv region.
Ukrainian countermeasures
The Defense Aviation conducted 11 strikes on Russian personnel concentration areas within 24 hours.
Missile and artillery units struck two command posts, a radar station, and an artillery unit in firing position.
