Russian troops’ attacks on the civilian infrastructure in Ukraine
During the day, the Russian army carried out 6 missile strikes and 38 airstrikes, conducting about 30 rocket artillery shelling attacks on the positions of Ukrainian troops and civilian areas. As a result of the Russian terrorist attacks, innocent people were affected, residential buildings, economic and administrative structures, as well as private vehicles, were damaged.
The probability of missile and airstrikes throughout the territory of Ukraine remains high.
The Russian army continues to concentrate its main efforts on the Kupiansk, Lyman, Bakhmut, Avdiivka, and Marinka directions, with heavy fighting ongoing. There have been 20 combat clashes during the day.
List of the Russian Federation’s attacks on the Ukrainian territory
- In the Volyn and Polissya directions, the operational situation remains unchanged, with no significant changes observed in Russia’s formation of offensive groupings.
- In the Siversk and Slobozhansk directions, the Russian army maintains a military presence. During the day, it carried out an airstrike in the area of Shpyl, Sumy region. It also conducted mortar and artillery shelling on more than 20 populated areas, including Stepne, Popivka, Kozache in the Sumy region, and Basove, Vysoka Yaruga, Ternova, and Vovchansk in the Kharkiv region.
- In the Kupiansk direction, Ukrainian soldiers are holding the defense steadfastly. During the day, the Russian army conducted unsuccessful offensive actions south of Masyutivka and carried out an airstrike in the area of Kyslivka, Kharkiv region. Russian artillery and mortar shelling affected Kamianka, Novomlynsk, Dvorichna, Kupiansk, and Kyslivka in the Kharkiv region.
- In the Lyman direction, Russian troops carried out unsuccessful offensive actions east of Vesele, Donetsk region. They conducted airstrikes in the areas of Bilohorivka, Luhansk region, and Siversk in the Donetsk region. The populated areas of Nevske, Bilohorivka in the Luhansk region, and Torske, Spirne, Rozdolivka in the Donetsk region were subjected to artillery shelling.
- In the Bakhmut direction, Ukrainian military successfully repelled all Russian attacks in the areas of Orikhovo-Vasylivka, Hryhorivka, and Ivanivske, Donetsk region. Additionally, the Russian army attempted to regain the lost positions northwest of Kurdiumivka, Donetsk region, but without success. It conducted an airstrike in the area of Pivnichne. Over 10 populated areas were affected by Russian artillery shelling, including Vasiukivka, Bohdanivka, Chasiv Yar, Bila Hora, and Druzhba in the Donetsk region.
- In the Avdiivka direction, Russian soldiers carried out an airstrike in the area of Avdiivka. At the same time, they conducted artillery shelling on more than 10 populated areas, including Avdiivka, Pervomaiske, and Nevelske in the Donetsk region.
- In the Marinka direction, the Armed Forces of Ukraine continue to hold back the advance of Russian troops in the area of Marinka. The Russian army conducted shelling on more than 10 populated areas, including Krasnohorivka, Marinka, and Hryhorivka in the Donetsk region.
- In the Shakhtarsk direction, in the northern part of Staromykhailivka, Donetsk region, Russian troops made an unsuccessful attempt to regain lost positions. They carried out airstrikes in the areas of Vremivka, Blahodatne, and Makarivka in the Donetsk region. They shelled populated areas such as Paraskoviivka, Novomykhailivka, Vuhledar, Zolota Nyva, Velyka Novosilka, and Blahodatne.
- In the Zaporizhzhia and Kherson directions, the Russian army concentrates its main efforts on preventing further advancement of Ukrainian troops. It conducted an airstrike in the area of Stepove, Zaporizhzhia region. Russian soldiers also carried out artillery shelling on more than 15 populated areas, including Malynivka, Huliaypole, Charivne in the Zaporizhzhia region, Dudchany, Kozatske, Ivanivka, Antonivka, Berehove, Kizomys in the Kherson region, and the city of Kherson.
The Ukrainian troops’ strikes on Russian equipment
At the same time, the Ukrainian Armed Forces continue their offensive operations in the Melitopol and Berdiansk directions, consolidating their positions and conducting counter-battery measures.
The aviation of the Ukrainian army conducted 15 strikes during the day on areas of personnel concentration, weapons and military equipment, including one strike on Russian air defense system.
The missile and artillery units targeted the area of Russian personnel, weapons, and military equipment, destroying nine artillery systems in firing positions and two Russian air defense systems during the day.
