Russian troops’ attacks on the civilian infrastructure in Ukraine
During the day, Russian troops carried out 2 missile strikes, 24 aviation strikes, and around 40 artillery bombardments using multiple launch rocket systems against the positions of Ukrainian troops and civilian areas. Unfortunately, due to these Russian terrorist attacks, there have been casualties and injuries among the civilian population, including children. Residential buildings and other civilian infrastructure have also been damaged.
The likelihood of missile and aviation strikes across Ukraine remains high.

- In the Volyn and Polissya directions, the operational situation remains relatively unchanged.
- In the Siversk and Slobozhansk directions, the Russian army conducted mortar and artillery shelling on over 15 populated areas, including places like Halahanivka, Hremiach, Novovasylivka in the Chernihiv region; Volfyne, Turia in the Sumy region; and Ohirtseve, Okip, Budarky in the Kharkiv region.
- In the Kupyansk direction, the Russian army conducted unsuccessful offensive actions in the area southeast of Andriivka, Luhansk Oblast. Population centers such as Kamyanka Petropavlivka, Berestove, and Kyslivka in Kharkiv Oblast were subjected to Russian artillery and mortar bombardments.
- In the Lyman direction, Russian troops carried out aviation strikes in the areas of Bilohorivka, Luhansk Oblast, and Vesele, Donetsk Oblast. Over 10 populated areas, including Bilohorivka, Luhansk Oblast, and Terny, Verkhniokamianske, Serebrianka, Zvanivka in Donetsk Oblast, were targeted by Russian artillery shelling.
- In the Bakhmut direction, the Russian army made unsuccessful attempts to regain lost positions in the areas south of Andriivka and west of Yahidne, Donetsk Oblast. An aviation strike was conducted in the area of Klyshchiivka, Donetsk Oblast. Over 15 populated areas were affected by Russian artillery shelling, including Minkivka, Orikhovo-Vasylivka, Chasiv Yar, Ivanivske, Bila Hora, Pryvillia in Donetsk Oblast.
- In the Avdiivka direction, under heavy Russian aviation and artillery fire, Ukrainian troops continue to hold off the Russian soldiers’ advance in the area of Avdiivka, Donetsk Oblast. The Russian army carried out an aviation strike in the Avdiivka area. Populated areas such as Oleksandropil, Spepove, Keramik, Novokalynove, and Avdiivka in Donetsk Oblast were subjected to artillery shelling.
- In the Marinka direction, the Armed Forces of Ukraine continue to resist the Russian troops advance in the area of Marinka, Donetsk Oblast. An aviation strike was conducted in the Krasnohorivka area, Donetsk Oblast. Over 10 populated areas, including Krasnohorivka, Marinka, Novomykhailivka, and Kostiantynivka in Donetsk Oblast, were hit by Russian artillery shelling.
- In the Shakhtarsk direction, the Russian army made unsuccessful attempts to regain lost positions in the area west of Staromykhailivka, Donetsk Oblast. Aviation strikes were carried out in the areas of Blahodatne and Staromykhailivka. Over 10 populated areas, including Vodyane, Vuhledar, Bohoyavlensk, Zolota Nyva, and Staromykhailivka in Donetsk Oblast, were subjected to Russian artillery shelling.
- In the Zaporizhzhia direction, the Russian army made unsuccessful attempts to regain lost positions in the area east of Robotyne, Zaporizhzhia Oblast. Aviation strikes were carried out in the areas of Chervone and Pyatyhatky, Zaporizhzhia Oblast. Over 15 populated areas, including Olhivske, Malynivka, Huliaypole, Mali Shcherbaky, and Kamianske in Zaporizhzhia Oblast, were affected by Russian artillery shelling.
- In the Kherson front, Russian troops carried out an aviation strike in the area of Zelenyi Hai, Kherson Oblast. Over 15 populated areas, including Zolota Balka, Veletenske, Stanislav, Komyshany, Novotiahynka, Antonivka in Kherson Oblast, the city of Kherson, and Ivanivka in Mykolaiv Oblast, were subjected to Russian artillery shelling.
The Ukrainian troops’ strikes on Russian equipment
Meanwhile, Ukrainian Armed Forces continue their offensive operation in the Melitopol and Berdiansk directions, consolidating their positions and carrying out counter-battery measures.
During the day, the aviation of the Ukrainian army conducted 10 strikes on Russian personnel, weaponry, and military equipment concentrations, as well as 4 strikes on anti-aircraft missile complexes.
Missile and artillery units struck 2 Russian artillery pieces on firing positions, 1 anti-aircraft missile complex, 1 electronic warfare station, and 1 Russian air defense system.
