For the collection, Urban Darzi worked with dead-stock garments and fabric scraps from Freakins to create playful yet wearable separates for men and women, the brand announced on Instagram. The capsule collection features nine limited edition styles and mixes both brands’ aesthetics while promoting zero waste.

Freakins has partnered with a number of artists to offer new styles and collections. In December 2022, the brand joined forces with entrepreneur Parul Gulati to launch a capsule collection titled ‘My Freakins’. The line was designed to cater to all Indians, regardless of their gender, body type, or skin, the brand announced on Facebook at the time.

Freakins reported a revenue total of Rs 23 crore for the 2023 financial year and has a target of Rs 100 crore in revenue for the 2024 fiscal. The brand plans to open its first flagship store in Mumbai before opening exclusive brand outlets in Delhi, Ahmedabad, and Bengaluru where it has strong market penetration.

Freakins also recently raised $4 million in a seed funding round led by businesses Matrix Partners India and Blume Ventures. The business will use the investment to expand its omni-channel presence across India.
