FirstCry opens stores in Bengaluru and Anna Nagar

Baby and maternity clothing, personal care, and lifestyle brand FirstCry has opened new brick-and-mortar stores in Karnataka in Bengaluru and in Tamil Nadu in Anna Nagar. The stores retail a multi-brand selection of products and bolster the business’ retail presence in South India. 

FirstCry’s new store in Bengaluru’s Jayanagar measures 5,000 square feet, FirstCry’s senior project design executive Shruti Kadam announced on Linkedin. The business’ new store in Anna Nagar measures 8,000 square feet and both outlets retail FirstCry’s selection of Indian and international mother and baby brands to cater to South India’s shoppers. 
 
FirstCry retails a mix of over 2,000 brands with product categories ranging from baby and maternity wear to personal care, footwear, and nutrition among others. Brands include Himalaya Herbals, Pigeon, Farlin, Disney, Mattel, Organic Harvest, and And Girl among others. Recent launches on FirstCry include House of Zelena’s latest maternity wear collection for summer and baby wear by Carter’s, the business announced on Facebook. 

Supam Maheshwari and Amitava Saha launched FirstCry in 2010 in Pune. The business started out online but swiftly embraced an omni-channel model and opened its first brick-and-mortar store. The business also runs a number of social media accounts which focus on sharing information on parenting.
