On the evening of July 25, Falguni Shane Peacock presented a glittering men’s and women’s occasion wear collection with Bollywood celebrity Kiara Advani as showstopper. The New Delhi showcase at India Couture Week also featured life-size white elephant sculptures and a ballet performance.
The collection mixed voluminous lehengas with bralet style blouses in shades ranging from emerald to white for women and highly ornate yet smoothly tailored looks for men. Kiara Advani closed the show in a form fitting pink lehenga completely covered in glittering details to draw a close to a collection which was a true mix of tradition and modern glamour.
The show’s jewellery partner was Renu Oberoi Luxury Jewellery which provided traditional style sparkles to the dramatic ensembles. Renu Oberoi is based in Mumbai and specialises in diamond jewellery.

With these exciting partnerships, this edition will be a treat to the discerning audience, bringing with it the timeless elegance that couture embodies.”
India Couture Week runs from July 25 to August 2 at locations around Delhi. The runway shows are also live-streamed online to enable the public to view them. This season, participating designers include Ritu Kumar, Varun Bahl, Gaurav Gupta, and JJ Valaya among others.
