Decathlon, a leading sports products brand has partnered with fashion online marketplace Myntra to expand its reach in the Indian market.

With this association, Decathlon will sell its premium range of sportswear, footwear, accessories, and other products to Myntra’s serviceable pin codes across India.

Decathlon is banking on Myntra’s widespread reach especially in tier 2, 3 cities & beyond to boost its sales and increase the brand’s visibility.

Commenting on the association, Sankar Chatterjee, CEO at Decathlon India in a statement said, “Our strategic association with Myntra is a significant step in enhancing our e-commerce presence and also represents our efforts to reach a much larger audience across India. Myntra’s wide network presence and huge base of premium customers will enable us to showcase our diverse range of sports and fitness products to millions of shoppers.”

Sharon Pais, chief business officer at Myntra added, “With a strong focus on emerging regions that earlier did not have such access for their sport of interest, this collaboration underscores our commitment to supporting brands on a mission propelling active lifestyle and fitness adoption in the country.”

Decathlon’s store on Myntra will have prime visibility on the app throughout the launch period. Additionally, the brand will drive engagement through targeted social media campaigns across social media channels to reach a wider audience.
