The Clothing Manufacturers Association of India (CMAI) will host the 79th National Garment Fair from July 23 to 26 in Mumbai.
The four-day fair will showcase latest collections in men’s, women’s, & children’s clothing from over 1300 apparel brands and expects over 30,000 trade buyers from all over India.
Commenting on the event, Rajesh Masand, president of CMAI in a statement said, “Despite the consumption slow down prevalent since 2023, we are optimistic about a rising demand in the domestic market during the upcoming festive season. Indian consumers distinct fashion choices, demand for unique prints, special designs and premium merchandise does provide a solid foundation for growth.”
Rohit Munjal, chairman of the CMAI fair committee added, “National Garment Fair attracts national level manufacturers, distributors, retailers, industry professionals, promoting B2B sourcing relationships and offers access to new business opportunities that help drive growth.”
CMAI is the most representative association of the Indian apparel industry having over 5000 members and serving more than 25,000 retailers across India.
