Footwear and accessories brand Clog London plans to open 24 stores over the coming year and will launch outlets in numerous upcoming shopping centres in the next few years as the business also advances its digitisation.
“We are targeting to open stores in Tier 1 and tier 2 cities as of now,” Clog London’s director Gopal Rathor told India Retailing in an interview. “These will be a mix of company-owned, company-operated, and franchise-owned stores. In the next year, we are planning to open 24 stores and have signed on with many upcoming malls, keeping the next three to four years in mind. However, we want to take it slow and make all stores successful.”
The brand has grown by five times since its launch, according to Rathor. After expanding its product offering, Clog London aims to become one of the country’s swiftest growing footwear and accessories labels by offering a mix of comfort and trend driven styles.
“Our growth momentum continues as we increase our presence through SIS [shop in shop] formats and EBOs, setting a strong foundation for future success,” said Rathor. “Rising consumer demand and digital adoption have been significant drivers of our growth. Aligning with consumer demand and advancing the digitisation of our brand has proven instrumental in achieving substantial growth.”
Clog London was established in 2018. Beginning life as a shop in shop, the brand today operates as an omni-channel retailer with exclusive brand outlets across the Delhi National Capital Region and Haryana while also having a presence on multi-brand e-commerce platforms such as Ajio, Myntra, Nykaa Fashion, Flipkart, and Amazon India.
