Global luxury brands Chanel and Dior will soon add to their India store presences with flagship outlets in Noida’ DLF Mall of India. The NCR destination is increasingly attracting shoppers looking to make luxury purchases and Chanel is keen on expanding its India retail presence.
“The Chanel pop-up is already operational and they will open their brick-and-mortar store in Mall of India in the next three months,” said DLF Retail’s senior executive director and head of business Pushpa Bector, India Retailing reported. DLF Retail is the segment of real estate giant DLF Limited which is dedicated to its shopping centres.
The Chanel store will be located on the mall’s International Boulevard on its ground floor which specialises in global premium fashion and lifestyle brands. The upcoming Chanel store will measure 700 square feet and will expand on the product selection available in its pop up.
DLF Mall of India is currently in talks to bring French luxury brand Dior to the shopping centre as well, according to Bector. As one of India’s largest malls, DLF Mall of India measures around two million square feet and is spread across seven floors with over 400 Indian and International brands, according to its website.
Chanel has added to its India retail presence recently by opening a beauty and perfume store in Phoenix Palladium Mall. The brand also counts stores in DLF Promenade and The Chanakya.
