“Our approach to designing and tailoring corsets is deeply personalised,” said the brand’s founder Suman Bharti, Indian Retailer Bureau reported. “We offer a wide range of products available in diverse colors, styles, and patterns, ensuring that every customer finds a corset that suits their requirements.”

The brand aims to launch a studio store in India to engage with its customers. Bunny Corset’s social media presence, including on Facebook, focuses on sharing information about corsets and meeting with shoppers in person will enable the brand to further educate the Indian public on corsets.

Entrepreneur Suman Bharti launched Bunny Corset after spending time in the UK and becoming interested in the garment and saw a gap in the Indian market. The brand launched as a bootstrapped venture. “By self-funding the company, we maintain full control over our operations, decision-making processes, and creative direction,” said Bharti.

The Indian corset industry is not yet a mainstream establishment, according to Bharti. Bunny Corset’s designs are designed to be worn for both fashion and waist training purposes, where corset wearers use the garment to shape and reduce the size of their waist.
