Formal wear and tailoring brand Bombay Shirt Company has crossed the 20 brick-and-mortar store mark and opened its latest outlet in Navi Mumbai’s Seawoods neighbourhood to bolster its retail presence in the Mumbai suburb.
“A lot of the people who shop at the seven stores we already have in Mumbai reside in Navi Mumbai,” said Bombay Shirt Company’s founder and CEO Akshay Narvekar, Indian Retailer Bureau reported. “We hope the new layout of the store is something that works well for the customer by minimising visual clutter and helping them make an informed purchase based on their needs.”
The store’s modern style interior puts its shirts and tailored clothing front and centre and has a section where shoppers can order tailor made garments. The brand’s new tailor made blazer range is available at its new Navi Mumbai store along with t-shirts, button down shirts, and trousers.
Bombay Shirt Company opened a store in New Delhi in February this year, according to its Facebook page. The brand also counts stores in Bengaluru, Gurugram, and Hyderabad.
Bombay Shirt Company first launched in 2012 and specialises in custom made apparel for men. The brand retails from its pan-India outlets as well as its direct to customer online store, which offers international shipping.
