Biba partners with Renuka Singh Thakur for Women’s Day campaign

Women’s ethnic wear and lifestyle brand Biba has joined forces with cricket player Renuka Singh Thakur to launch a Women’s Day campaign titled ‘Strength Meets Style’ which chronicles the sportswoman’s journey.

“This film champions embracing your power and asserting your worth- whether on the cricket field or off it,” said cricketer Renuka Singh Thakur in a press release. “It’s truly inspiring to witness Biba leading the charge for this positive change.”
 
The brand campaign is designed to break away from stereotypes of what women can achieve in India and shares Renuka Singh Thakur’s perspective. Despite a stigma against women in sport, Renuka Singh Thakur shows her dedication to training and the success it has brought her with the aim of inspiring others and showing how Biba supports diversity. 

“At Biba, we’ve always believed in celebrating the spirit of womanhood and are proud to champion the incredible women who are redefining what it means to be authentic, powerful, and stylish,” said the brand’s managing director Siddharth Bindra. “With Renuka at the heart of this campaign, we are celebrating women and paying respect to their strength and grit.
