Youth-focused clothing fast fashion brand Beyoung has experienced swift growth and reached a revenue total of Rs 150 crore. The Udaipur-based business expects this growth to continue to achieve annual recurring revenue of Rs 500 crore by 2026.
Beyoung has been operating for five years and has expanded its reach to deliver up to 25,000 pin codes across India, India Retailing reported. The business aims to continue to expand its retail reach and expects this to in turn boost revenue.
The business raised Rs 40 crore in funding from fintech business Klub, which specialises in revenue-based financing for startups. Beyoung reported in a press release that its monthly recurring revenue has increased threefold since the funding as was able to use the investment to expand its reach across India.
Beyoung retails from its direct to customer e-commerce website and its stores across the country. Following its recent funding injection, the brand has amped up its brick-and-mortar expansion and plans to have opened more than 100 stores in a mixture if Tier 2 and 3 cities by the end of this calendar year.
Shivam Soni, Sakshi Soni, Shivani Soni, and Shankar Mali launched Beyoung in Udaipur in June, 2018 to retail a mix of western and fusion style clothing. The business reported a revenue total of Rs 50 lakh for its first year of operations.
