Being Human to open first exclusive brand outlet in Dubai

Bollywood celebrity Salman Khan’s men’s and women’s apparel brand Being Human will launch a flagship store in Dubai in City Centre Diera Mall on September 4. The brand also plans to launch two more stores in Dubai by January 2024. 

“We plan to open our second and third store in Dubai by January,” said Being Human Clothing’s chief executive Sanjeev Rao, India Retailing reported. “We will open one store in Canada next in October. Then we plan to go to Saudi Arabia where we are planning to open 10-12 stores in the next two quarters.”
 
Being Human’s upcoming Dubai flagship will be located on the first floor of City Centre Diera Mall, which is situated in the old town area of Dubai. The store will measure 2,500 square feet and will be inaugurated on Monday by Salman Khan’s brother Arbaaz Khan.

In India, Being Human counts approximately 100 stores spread across the country. The brand has a current total of around 10 stores outside India, all found in Bangladesh and Nepal. The Dubai store will be the brand’s first outside of Asia and its upcoming store opening in Canada will be its first in North America. 
 
“Dubai is an ethnic melting pot and we expect not just Indian diaspora but Bangladeshi, Sri Lankan and Arabs to shop at our store,” Rao told India Retailing about the brand’s expectations for the Dubai store. “We plan to open 50 stores this year and then we will open 100 stores each year for the next four years.”
