Being Human appoints Preeti Chopra as business development vice president

Clothing brand Being Human has appointed Preeti Chopra as its new vice president of business development for India and global. In her new role, Chopra will leverage technology to fuel the brand’s next phase of growth.

Chopra will be responsible for ensuring that Being Human’s clothing and accessories reach the right consumers, both in India and abroad, sources close to the development told India Retailing. Chopra has a career spanning 20 years in business development and fashion retail and was previously Raymond Limited’s national head of business development. 
 
Being Human announced this year that it plans to focus on international retail expansion to take its business to the next level. The brand plans to open stores in Bangladesh, Canada, and the Middle East in the near future. 

Being Human Clothing launched in 2012 with the aim of helping to fund Bollywood celebrity Salman Khan’s charitable organisation ‘Being Human – The Salman Khan Foundation’. The brand currently counts over 90 exclusive brand outlets and also retails its clothing in over 400 multi-brand outlets across India. Being Human also counts over 200 shop-in-shops and retails online on India’s major multi-brand platforms as well as its own.
