Beauty Garage Professional acquires hair cosmetics brand Gofab Genesis LLP

Hair care brand Beauty Garage Professional has undertaken a complete acquisition of hair cosmetics brand Gofab Genesis LLP. Beauty Garage Professional aims to harness the deal to increase its market share, with an emphasis on the premium salon segment.

“This acquisition not only enhances our product portfolio but also positions us as a leader in the premium salon segment,” said Beauty Garage Professional’s co-founder and CEO Mahesh Ravaria, ET Retail reported. “By integrating Gofab Genesis’ expertise and innovative products, we are confident in achieving our targeted revenue of Rs 100 crore in the coming year.”
 
The acquisition deal includes the Gofab Genesis LLP brand as well as its products and manufacturing facilities. Along with increasing its revenue total, Beauty Garage Professional plans to expand its horizons beyond India and enter international markets including the US and the Middle East.
 
Beauty Garage Professional was founded in 2017 and has expanded its network to work with approximately 100 distributors. The brand’s products include collagen hair treatments, shampoos, conditioners, scalp treatments, hair growth combs, and scalp scanning devices, according to its Facebook page. The label will take part in the upcoming edition of trade show Professional Beauty India, which will run from September 30 to October 1 at the Bombay Exhibition Centre in Mumbai.
