Bath & Body Works opens new store in Kochi

US-based personal care and fragrance brand Bath & Body Works has opened a new store in Kochi in the city’s recently opened Forum Mall. The store is the brand’s second to date in the state of Kerala and retails its range of skincare, body care, fragrance, and lifestyle goods. 

“We are proud to announce the opening of Bath & Body Works newest store at Forum Kochi Mall,” announced Apparel Group India Private Limited on Linkedin. “This marks the brands second store in Kerala and the 34th in India.”
 
Bath & Body Works has been focusing on expanding its brick-and-mortar retail footprint across India so far this year. The business opened its 32nd India store in Bengaluru’s Forum Mall in July and subsequently opened its 33rd India store in the Punjab city of Mohali. The business also opened its first high street store in India in May this year in Bengaluru. 

Bath & Body Works joins brands including Marks & Spencer, Aldo, and Adidas in Forum Mall Kochi. Prestige Group opened the mall earlier this month as a joint development with Thomsun Realtors. Measuring 6.5 lakh square feet, the mall was built with an investment of Rs 700 crore. 
 
Bath & Body Works launched in 1990 in Ohio, US and is known for its seasonal fragrance blends. The brand counts over 425 international franchise outlets and first entered the Indian market in 2018 in partnership with retail giant Apparel Group.
