Bata partners with supply chain solution provider Blue Yonder to ameliorate customer experience

Footwear business Bata has partnered with US-based supply chain solution provider Blue Yonder to ameliorate its customer experience. The partnership will forge new merchandising strategies and replenishment planning processes to harness innovation for customer satisfaction.

“At Bata Group, we understand the importance of meeting our customers’ needs with agility and precision,” announced Bata Group on Linkedin. “By teaming up with Blue Yonder, a leading supply chain solutions provider, we are taking our operations to the next level.”

The partnership is also designed to streamline Bata’s operations and empower its teams, India Retailing reported. Bata retails in over 70 countries worldwide and is one of the major players in India’s footwear market. 

“At Bata, we have always been dedicated to providing quality footwear, and this collaboration with Blue Yonder aligns perfectly with our commitment to excellence,” wrote Bata’s global chief product officer Barbara Franceschetto on the business’ official website blog. “Together with Blue Yonder, we will redefine our landscape, setting new standards in innovation, sustainability and customer satisfaction.”
 
Bata was first established in 1894 in Switzerland. The business today counts over 32,000 employees and over 5,300 stores globally. In India, Bata retails through a mix of company owned company operated and franchise stores, of which it counts over 1,700.
