Womenswear brand Barooni presented an autumnal hued collection of feminine fusion wear on the runway at Bombay Times Fashion Week. The collection was titled ‘Structural Mess’ and presented silk and crepe evening wear as a tribute to the season.
This season, Barooni’s designer Shivani Saraf took inspiration from autumn leaves, rich colours of an October forest, and the golden, waning sunlight to present a collection which was designed to celebrate women of all seasons. Details such as embroidered autumn leaves drove home the collection’s inspiration and added a delicate touch to the ensembles.
Actress and influencer Debina Bonnerjee closed the runway show in a rust and maroon gown with floaty layers of fabric, accompanied by her children. Against a backdrop of autumn leaves, the runway sent, “a love letter to autumn’s embrace,” Times Fashion Week announced on Facebook.
