Balenzia wins Warner Bros award for licensed accessories

Sock and fashion accessory brand Balenzia has been given an award by Warner Bros Discovery Consumer Products for ‘Best Lifestyle Product Fashion Accessories of the Year 2023’ to celebrate its licensed character goods.

“We are truly honoured to receive the ‘Best Lifestyle Product Fashion Accessories of the Year 2023’ award from Warner Bros Discovery Consumer Products,” said Balenzia’s director Rahul Gupta in a press release. “As a lifelong fan of WB, this recognition holds a special place in my heart. This award will inspire us to push the boundaries of innovation even further. The evening was not only a celebration of our past achievements but also an inspiration for the endless possibilities that lie ahead.”
 
The award was given to Balenzia at the ‘WBD Licensing Summit 2023’ which was recently held celebrate excellence in Warner Bros’ consumer products and partnerships in the South Asian region. The event recognised a number of labels in the area for their use of the Warner Bros licence. 

Balenzia has attributed much of its recent success in the Indian market to its products produced under the Warner Bros license. The business has been a dedicated licensee of Warner Bros for over six years and holds licenses for all major properties which fall under the Warner Bros umbrella. In addition, the business holds licenses for media giants including HBO, Cartoon Network, Disney, Marvel, and DC Comics which it uses to create bold, graphic socks and accessories.
