Amethyst to showcase Tribe Amrapali and Sunira in Chennai

Multi-brand luxury Indian fashion boutique Amethyst will bring jewellery brand Tribe Amrapali and womenswear brand Sunira to Chennai. Both brands will take part in an exclusive dual exhibition from July 24 to 29.

At the business to customer showcase, Tribe Amrapali will present its collections inspired by indigenous and tribal crafts, Amethyst announced in a press release on July 17. The brand specialises in silver and gold-plated silver jewellery and is a subsidiary of fine jewellery brand Amrapali. 
 
Tribe Amrapali will showcase jewellery from six different collections at the showcase comprising ‘Golden Glow’, ‘Nav Chandrika’, ‘Nova’, ‘Banaras’, ‘Kalai’, and ‘Lavanya’. Each collection has a distinct aesthetic ranging from modern and minimalist to opulent and traditional. The brand’s jewellery will be priced from Rs 250 to Rs 60,000.

Sunira will present three collections at the Chennai showcase including its latest launch for summer 2023, ‘Nitya’. Designed as a “luxurious pret line,” the collection’s name means ‘everyday’ and it is designed to offer versatile wardrobe essentials for hot summer days. Nitya also features Ajrakh hand block printing by tenth-generation artisan Abdul Aurangzeb.
 
The brand will also showcase collections ‘Mausam-e-sukoon’ and ‘Gulzaar’ which focus on Chikankari and Jamdani textiles respectively. Sunira’s garments are priced from Rs 2,100 to Rs 29,800.
 
Amethyst is located at The Folly in Chennai’s Royapettah district. The boutique holds numerous exhibitions each season to bring both luxury and up-and-coming brands to shoppers in Chennai to help labels connect with new customers.
