Technology-native retail business Ace Turtle has launched ‘Connect 2.0’ as an advanced version of its industry-first proprietary mobile app. Connect 2.0 is designed to digitise and streamline retail store operations as part of the business’ ‘Retail Nxt’ initiative.
“We are delighted to launch the Connect 2.0 app,” said Ace Turtle’s CEO Nitin Chhabra in a press release on August 7. “We have upgraded to a new architecture for better performance and scalability. Enabling digitisation and automation of store operations is a key part of our technology-driven strategy to scale the business of global brands in India. We are striving to stay ahead of the curve in a rapidly evolving retail landscape. Accelerating the adoption of technology solutions is critical for offering a seamless customer experience in an omni-channel world.”
The app facilitates communication and co-ordination between business teams at Ace Turtle and employees in retail stores across India, according to the business. Connect 2.0 has been rolled out across over 80 Indian Lee and Wrangler retail stores with the aim of boosting the efficiency and productivity of the brands and ameliorating the customer experience.
Connect 2.0 digitises store operations which are usually manual. This includes training, help-desk, and omni-channel order fulfilment.
Ace Turtle is based in Bengaluru and Singapore and is the exclusive licensee of global brands including Lee, Wrangler, Dockers, and Toys“R”Us among others. The business aims to lead the retail industry’s next phase of development through its Retail Nxt initiative.
