Aditya Birla Group’s handloom-focused apparel and homeware brand Aadyam Handwoven has launched a home textiles showcase at French interiors trade show Maison & Objet in Paris. Participating in the international event shows the brand’s plan to expand into global markets.
“Explore the enchanting world of handwoven home textiles at Maison & Objet 2023,” announced the brand on Facebook. This year’s theme, ‘Enjoy,’ perfectly aligns with Maison & Objet’s thrilling ‘Quest of Pleasures,’ where a rich tapestry of vibrant colours, opulent designs, audacious creations, and a delightful dash of humour will define this remarkable edition.”
Maison & Objet launched its 2023 edition on September 7 and runs until September 11 at the Paris Nord Villepinte Exhibition Centre. Aadyam Handwoven’s stall is located in Hall 8 of the trade show, in the ‘Unique & Eclectic’ sector.
The brand also recently launched a range of Ikat sarees in rich, autumnal hues, it announced on Facebook. The handloom collection has launched across Aadyam Handwoven’s exclusive brand outlets in Mumbai, Hyderabad, and Delhi.
Aadyam Handwoven is a corporate social initiative of textiles and apparel giant the Aditya Birla Group. The brand works with handloom weaving clusters across India and aims to create a, “self-sustaining ecosystem for the finest artisans of the country,” according to its website. The business is committed to increasing artisans’ quality of life by supporting them and selling their crafts.
