Arvind Fashions Ltd (AFL), which retails global brands like Arrow, Calvin Klein and Tommy Hilfiger in India reported a 58 percent increase in net profit to Rs 48 crore ($5.5 million) for the third quarter ended December 2024, as against Rs 30 crore in the year ago quarter.
The company’s revenue for the quarter rose by 7 percent to Rs 1,203 crore, as against Rs 1,125 crore in the corresponding quarter of the previous financial year.
Commenting on the results, Shailesh Chaturvedi, managing director CEO of AFL in a statement said, “AFL delivered yet another quarter of differentiated results despite tepid demand scenario across the industry. Retail LTL of 11 percent is a clear reflection of our conscious investments in upgrading customer experience and celebrity collab collection, helping deliver 7 percent revenue growth.”
“Favourable channel mix & lower discounting coupled with cost efficiencies resulted in the highest ever quarterly EBITDA and 71 percent growth in PAT. Our decisive focus on scaling existing brands is helping us gain market share. Moving forward, we will continue to stay committed to profitable growth & generate higher ROCE,” he added.
During the quarter, the company added 34 exclusive brand outlets to take its store count to 947 and plans to expand its network by opening 150 stores in FY25 through Franchise Owned Franchise Operated (FOFO) route.
