Farm to face beauty brand Soulflower has crossed the production mark of three lakh units per month, using ingredients sourced directly from organic farms across India. The business expects to cross the five lakh mark in units manufactured per month by November this year and the six million mark in a year’s time.

“This is a remarkable achievement considering that our cultivation is almost entirely driven by local farmers and ingredients are harvested in small batches to ensure maximum potency and efficacy in each of our product,” said Soulflower’s co-founder and CEO Natasha Tuli in a press release. “We integrate environmental sustainability into the brand’s ethos, ensuring that Soulflower’s footprint is as gentle on the earth as it is effective on hair and skin.”

Launched in 2001, the direct to customer brand retails beauty and personal care goods made from PETA approved materials and following cruelty free practices. The brand also uses recyclable and eco-friendly packaging materials and offers vocational training, skill upgrading and employment opportunities to women, artisans, and craftsmen to promote financial independence.

“Our Farm to Face concept came into being in 2021 by establishing a nine-hectare farm in Banswara, Rajasthan,” said Tuli. “Here we grow and nurture more than 1,200 trees to cultivate over 100 kilograms of herbs organically. This initiative not only supports the production of all-natural hair growth, skin care and personal care essentials but also trains and empowers local tribal women and youth about modern sustainable farming methods.”
