Fashion rental business Flyrobe has teamed up with Mumbai-based clothing rental company Sri Sringarr to launch its first ever ‘alliance store’. Located in Mumbai’s Ville Parle neighbourhood, the store houses an array of luxury brand occasion wear while technological features elevate the customer experience.
“Flyrobe is on a roar,” announced the business on Facebook. “Kickstarting the Flyrobe Alliance model with Sri Shringarr in Mumbai! This collaboration represents a significant milestone for us as we join forces with existing rental stores to revolutionise the fashion rental industry. The Flyrobe Alliance is designed to empower existing mom and pop rental stores by incorporating luxury inventory and advanced technology. This partnership is just the beginning as we aim to expand our alliance model across India, helping more stores thrive in the competitive fashion rental market.”
Sri Sringarr is one of Mumbai’s oldest clothing rental stores and now has features including barcode systems and automated billing through the Flyrobe partnership. Flyrobe has also added a selection of luxury inventory to the store.
“This partnership with Flyrobe marks a significant milestone for Sri Sringarr,” said store owner Bhagweti Poddar, India Retailing reported. “With Flyrobe’s support, we will offer our customers an exciting blend of luxury and elegance at affordable prices.”
Flyrobe was founded in 2015 to offer a sustainable and affordable way to wear luxury clothing, according to its Facebook page. The business today has over 18 retail outlets across India and serves more than 30 cities through its online portal.
