Fashion and lifestyle retailer Miniso has reopened three of its stores in Noida, Coimbatore, and New Delhi as pink themed outlets to engage shoppers. The business has also expanded its Intellectual Property (IP) collection zones with dedicated segments for Sanrio, Disney, and Barbie.
Miniso’s stores in Noida’s DLF Mall of India, New Delhi’s Ambience Mall, and Coimbatore’s Lakshmi Mills have been transformed into ‘Miniso Pink’ outlets, Miniso India announced on Facebook. Retailing accessories and beauty products, the stores focus on Miniso’s licensed collections due to their high sales rates.
“In addition to a fresh pink-themed design, the store upgrade also emphasises the introduction of three IP zones, marking a pioneering initiative in India that focuses on incorporating multiple IP zones,” said Miniso’s Overseas Directly Operated Markets’ general manager and vice president Bella Tu, Indian Retailer Bureau reported. “Following the successful launch of Sanrio-themed products in India last year, which saw a 100% sell-out rate for some related accessories, this year Miniso has also launched its highly popular Barbie series in India. Along with our top-selling fragrance products, we will continue to present more popular IP series products to our Indian customers.”
Miniso relaunched its DLF Mall of India store in Noida with a performance by singer Kanika Kapoor. The store measures 140 square metres and houses 3,000 different products.
Miniso’s new Barbie range features handbags, hairbrushes, tableware, kitchenware, blankets, makeup bags, flip flops, hair clips, mirrors, and electronics among other goods. “Unveil the magic of Barbie at Miniso,” announced Miniso India on Facebook. “Discover limited edition products at selected stores and make every day enchanting with Miniso.”
