Craving for an adventure like no other? Want to see a multitude of sunrises in a day? Ever daydreamed of floating in zero gravity? Then, be one of the lucky few to have gazed in amazement upon our own planet from outer space!
For the first time ever, in 2020 NASA will be opening a lavish, extraordinary cosmic vacation on the International Space Station.
It will cost the lucky and affluent explorers over $30,000 a night.
And, there’s a US-based company that will soon open the first ever luxury hotel in space. With luxury designs, mouthwatering food and a host of activities, this revolutionary hotel will usher in a new era in space travel.
The world’s first luxury space hotel
In 2024, Orion Span will officially open the first ever luxury space hotel in the world: Aurora Station.
For a price of $9.5 million, each tourist will get to indulge on a 12-day space tour on this wonderfully unusual luxury hotel.
During their 12-day space escapade, the super-rich guests and voyager will be flying at 200 miles above our planet’s surface in LEP (Low Earth Orbit), wherein they’ll see awe-inspiring vistas of the blue planet.
This luxury hotel will orbit our home planet every 90 minutes, meaning its travelers will likely see about 16 sunsets and sunrises every 24 hours.
Activities available
Just like any quintessential luxury hotel, Aurora Station has a host of activities to offer to its guests.
For one, they may take part in the station’s research and experiments, like growing organic food while floating in the orbit. They can also play a game of zero-gravity ping-pong, which is complete with all the floating equipment.
The voyagers, using the hotel’s high-speed internet access, may have video calls and chats with their loved ones back home. And, when they return to our world, they will be greeted enthusiastically with a specially and wonderfully arranged hero’s welcome.
As they enjoy the thrills and charms of zero gravity, guests will get to freely float through the luxury hotel. Even better, they’ll get to soak up views of the southern and northern aurora from the windows of the station.
At 35 feet long and 12 feet wide, Aurora Station is similar, when it comes to size, to a large private jet. And, it can accommodate up to 5 people at a time.
Currently, the prospect has intrigued and attracted a handful of wealthy folks. In fact, there are around 30 people who have signed up for this space experience, with each making an $80,000 deposit.
Got a ton of cash in your bank account? Why not try this extraordinary adventure?
