Multi-brand sunglasses retailer Sunglass Hut has launched a new store dedicated to luxury eyewear in Mumbai. The ‘Sunglass Icon’ store has opened in Reliance Industries Limited’s Jio World Plaza mall.
“Unveiling the epitome of style and sophistication at Sunglass Icon by Sunglass Hut – now open at Jio World Plaza,” announced Reliance Brands Limited on Facebook. “Dive into a world of luxury eyewear featuring some of your favourite brands! From classic aviators to bold designs, find your signature look amidst Mumbai’s chicest selection of sunglasses.”
The store has a golden façade featuring two large screens which display campaigns of brands featured inside the outlet. The store opened with a campaign for the Ray Ban Reverse collection which features global celebrities including Lenny Kravitz.
Inside the store, gold mirror walls continue the luxury theme and brown leather chairs offer shoppers a place to recline as they ponder their purchases. Brands available in the store include Cartier, Prada, Bulgari, Tiffany & Co, Burberry, and Dolce & Gabbana among others.
Sunglass Hut was launched by optometrist Sanford Ziff in Maimi, US in 1971, according to the business’ website. Today, the business retails globally in countries including Australia, New Zealand, Canada, the Netherlands, and Belgium among others. In India, Sunglass Hut retails from its country-specific e-commerce store and brick-and-mortar outlets across the country.
