Bata reaches franchise store total of 500

Footwear business Bata India has reached a franchise store milestone of 500. Bata India opened its 500th franchise store in Bengaluru and now counts a total of over 2,150 stores across India, including both company owned company operated stores, shop in shops, and franchise outlets. 

“We are immensely grateful for the continued trust and unwavering support of our franchise partners who have been instrumental in our journey to reach this milestone,” said Bata India Limited’s head of franchise business Abhinav Sharan in a press release. “The inauguration of our 500th franchise store reaffirms Bata’s deep-rooted commitment to India and strengthens our resolve to nurture leaders of tomorrow.  Together with our valued partners, we will continue this expansion journey to ensure that Bata’s quality and style are accessible to customers in every corner of the country.” 
 
Bata India launched a new campaign to celebrate its franchise store milestone titled ‘Bata 500 Franchise Store Family in India’. The CGI campaign thanks its franchise partners across the country and reaffirms its commitment to continuing to expand with new franchise partners to reach more shoppers pan-India.
