Shoppers Stop expands presence with first store in Agartala

Department store chain Shoppers Stop has expanded its retail presence with the opening of its first store in the northeastern city of Agartala in Tripura.

The store retails over 500 international, national, and private labels spread across multiple categories such as fashion, beauty, home decor and lifestyle.

Shoppers Stop claims that the new store will contribute to the local economy of Tripura by providing direct and indirect employment opportunities.

Commenting on the expansion, “Kavindra Mishra, executive director CEO of Shoppers Stop Limited in a statement said, “Northeast continues to be an important market for us.
