D’Yavol enters travel retail with showcase at Mumbai airport

D’Yavol, a luxury apparel brand by Slab Ventures Netherlands and AB InBev India has entered the travel retail segment with the launch of its first showcase at the Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International (CSMI) airport in Mumbai.

The brand is being promoted by its brand ambassador and actor Shah Rukh Khan, who happens to be father of the brand’s co-founder Aryan Khan.

The retail showcase offers a rare glimpse of the prototype of the iconic D’Yavol Signature X Leather Jacket, of which only 30 exclusive pieces were made available in April 2023 and got sold out within hours.

Commenting on the launch, Shah Rukh Khan in a statement said, “I am excited that travellers will get to experience the D’Yavol brand world at CSMI airport’s impressive Duty-Free.”

Kartikeya Sharma, president of AB InBev India added, “We’re thrilled to unveil D’YAVOL’s premier travel retail showcase at CSMI Airport Mumbai & excited to create a lasting impression on discerning consumers.”

Slab Ventures, founded by Aryan Khan, Leti Blagoeva and Bunty Singh had launched brand D’Yavol by partnering with Anheuser-Busch InBev in the Indian market last year. D’Yavol products are available for purchase exclusively on the brand’s website.
