Hari Krishna runs charitable initiatives in Mumbai

Diamond business Hari Krishna Exports Private Limited held a blood donation and eye check-up camp in Mumbai to celebrate the business’ 11th anniversary for its headquarters in the metro’s ‘The Capital’ building in Bandra Kurla Complex.

Hari Krishna Exports Private Limited’s blood donation camp saw participation from a wide range of people and collected 400 units of blood, the Gem and Jewellery Export Promotion Council reported on its website. The business has now collected a total of 18,067 units of blood since it began its charitable blood drive. 
 
The business’ eye check-up camp benefitted 315 individuals and the joint event welcomed Mumbai dignitaries including Mumbai Traffic Police’s DCP Raju Bhujabal, GJEPC chairman Vipul Shah, GJEPC vice chairman Kirit Bhansali, GIA India managing director Shriram Natarajan, and Kiran Gems’ global director Dinesh Lakhani among others. Hari Krishna Exports Private Limited’s founder and managing director Ghanshyam Dholakia encouraged continued participation in its blood donation drive to help to alleviate blood shortages as well as promote general health awareness.
 
The diamond industry business runs numerous charitable initiatives and aims to plant a total of 10 million trees by 2030. The business is also using 100% renewable energy in its diamond manufacturing process.
